New Gears

I want to change my gears to 3.73 I also want to go to a Posi rear instead of limited slip. I was wondering what I needed to buy to get posi? I was also wanting to get some opinions on what type of gears to get? Do I need a Speedo gear? Any input is appreciated. Details of car below.

86 TA WS6 47, 600 miles
Pullies
Air Foil
ADS Super Chip
Accel Ignition
Flowmaster CAT Back Exaust

Mods to come: Headers, Gears, Cam, Cold Air Intake.

Thank you for the links. That would be what I am looking for. Is this a job for a rookie mechanic or should I pay to have this done?

this isnt a good job even for an experienced person, simply because not many people have the tools....unless you happen to have a press laying around among other things .

you'll pay anywhere from 200-400 for installation depending on where you go and where you live

just to make you jealous, i got mine done for 175

replacing your axles requires removing lots more stuff, so that will up the price even more. and doing both speedo gears means popping the back off the transmission. it's not gonna be cheap. figure max of about a grand for it all.
