I'm finally really getting sick of only one tire smoking so hopefully i'll have enough cash with next weeks check to finally get the posi put in. I'm taking it to the place i had the tranny done they do real good work i'll keep you'll updated as to how it is.

 

I have had the good luck to have never had an open rear car or axle (I have three rears in my possesion). Positraction is definitly one of the best things to have on your car, especially if you are making any sort of power.

a kink's been thrown into my plans i can get a limited slip for 600 or a full posi for 1k thats parts installed everything. What should i go with. I WANT TO SMOKE BOTH TIRES. Will the limited slip do that for me or do i have to have the posi.

 

when you say full posi do you mean a locker? because posi is just one type of limited slip differential.

 

took me four hours to swap my rearends.

 

i have my ways, i have my ways... but four hours is worth the wait for a posi if you ask me.
