TPS have anything to do with tranny shifting?

my transmission has been shifting a little softer than usual and i remeber it starting around when u put my new TBi on my car that had a different TPS pigtail but i replaced this and got a new one and it worked i had my fluid flushed and my TV cable is slightly tense at WOT the 1-2 shift has become alot softer than it was before and 2-3 and 3-4 are the same as always someone said to replace the servo if it is the servo how hard is that to replace and could it be done in a driveway

Run on sentences are difficult to read.

The TV cable adjustment may be off; try moving it towards the firewall a couple clicks at a time.

The TPS doesn't affect shifts. It does affect lockup.
