Hello 3.27's
Hey guys, just picked up my spacer for the 9 bolt. this will allow me to run 3 series gears on my 2 series posi carrier, it wasn't cheap but alot better than buying a new 3 series carrier.
I had it made at a machine shop here in town, I know the guy who owns it and he cut me a deal, $125.00 for the piece. not too bad, definatly not as bad a $400.00 + for a new 3 series carrier.

The only problem with a spacer is on most 9 bolt carrier/gear set combinations, you will not be able to properly locate the ring gear. I've got several solutions in the works and just waiting for parts to come in.
As soon as the location issue is resolved, I've got about a dozen used sets of 3.7, 3.9 and 4.1 ratio gear sets that will be available at ~1/2 - 2/3 the cost of a new set. Also, the spacer will be significantly cheaper than $125!.
