Need a tranny. My motor has about 600 HP and I have a NX nitrous system adjustable to 300. Any suggestions. I bought a $500 stall so I think I wanna stay with a 700R4 so I can still use it.

 

How much is the engine putting out now without the nitrous?

 

Well the motor hasnt been dynoed but it is supposed to be pushing about 600HP...I would like to run 300HP NX nitrous. It is adjustable from 50-300HP.

 

The 700R4/4L60E can hold 650-675 HP for a short period of time (and that's on a good day). In reality, it is good for no more than 625 HP, (with what is available out there now). TH400 (reasonable cost wise) or 4L80E (expensive) is the way to go for longevity.

 

i am lookin to buy a performance transmission too. not nearly for that much hp but you can check out the same place i found..
