Tranny Cooler????

I did a search and did not find what I was looking for, so I'm gonna have to ask this.

Do I have a stock tranny cooler in a 5spd car?
Me and my dad were just discussing tranny coolers and he said that manual transmission don't have coolers on them. So I went out side and looked on my car. I found what looks like a line running from the radiator down to the tranny. I have not jacked up the car to verify this yet though. If anyone could tell me that would be great

Sorry for the book

You have no cooler.

There is no line that goes from the radiator to the transmission. The only line that hooks to the trans is its vent, which is pretty hard to see with it in the car.

Look for two metal lines on the passenger side of the radiator. One is below the heater hose and the other is right above the lower radiator hose. If you have these, then more than likely your car was originally equipped with an auto tranny and converted to manual, because manuals DO NOT have coolers.
