I am interested in a 85 Trans Am that has a 700R. The owner says the transmission was rebuilt about 40k miles ago. When placed in park the car acts as if its in neutral. How much would it cost to fix this and what type of problem is this? I also believe it has a shift kit, but I don't know much about them, can someone describe how that would drive (feel). Thanks.

 

my guess would be parking paw out of adjustment, cost next to nothing to fix, or have fixed.
