700-4r in an 83 camaro
i have two questions, first of all, my car revs between gears and slams into gear exseasivly hard. any idea on what might do this? I was thinking some loose bands??? ok, sencend question. There is nothing more agravating then when your on the gas, and the car stays in third, and you have to get off the gas to make it shift, then you can only be half-way on the throttle or it kickes back down, how do i eleminate this? any info would be helpful.

you have to get a special kit
im pretty shure you have to get a special upgrade kit from like b&m that will make your tranny stay in OD wile you are at full throttle i think it like 35 bucks.

Monster is right on with the aftermarket valve changing the downshift point for the 700 R4. There are several versions of this that allow downshift at different amounts of pedal.
