Can ayone give me a link to or give me detailed instructions on pulling the 700-R4 (V-6 car would be nice unless it is the same), like wrench and socket sizes, special tools, how to get the driveshaft off, things like that I have the haynes manuals but I want as much info as I can get. Blown trans comes out next weekend junk yard trans goes in after it. Id get one from thirdgenresourse so it is guaranteed to run but I need one in a few days so Im gonna hope when they say it runs that they are right. But if a yard keeps a trans they ussualy only keep the ones that run rigt? Ill be sure to change the filter and flush out the old fluid.

 

You should consider replacing the front pump seal, the tail shaft seal and bushing in addition to the filter before installing the junk yard special.
