Well, this has been goin on for some time now guys and has done it ever since i bought this car. Well its an 89 with a 350 and trans which both have less than 5k on them. WEll when i drive the car for a period of times (ranges some times 5 minutes soem times 15) i start to hear i whining coming from the car. It only makes the noise when im barely on the gas and doesnt happen when im braking. Also when i hammer it and the car starts to slow down there is a violent shake and a real bad grind noise. this only seems to happen at higher rates of speed though. anyone know what this could be. The problems may be seperate but are annoying and possibly dangerous.

 

Where is the vibration coming from? It could be the transmission or engine mounts. It could also be a loose or unbalanced driveshaft, tires, or balljoints. Try to isolate what area of the car the vibration is coming from.
