For anyone who thinks their TKO doesn't shift right

I put a TKO in my car last year and have had problems with it. I could not get the clutch to work right, and it would not downshift. I replaced everything, master, slave, lines, nothing helped. I ordered an adjustable pivot ball, and it did not seem to be long enough, just like the stock one. I called Fortes Transmission and he sent me a new pivot ball, also not a fix. After thinking about it for way too long i said screw it and welded a nut to the back of the adjustable pivot ball. I added 7/16" to the pivotball length. Put it all back together. Perfect. Why would Lakewood put the hydraulic mount too far away and make the whole thing screwy? I could not figure it out, but I do have a fix and if you are having a problem like this, let me know and give this a try. Your only out $20 if it doesn't work, but if it is like mine, this is an easy fix that will work.
