no speedo after new tranny install???
I just got my car back from haveing a new 700r4 installed. The car is an 89 formula 350 with 128k miles. I have put about 170 miles on it since I got it back, and then this morning on the way to work, the speedo just went dead. I got under the car to make sure the speed sensor was stil plugged in. Everything seemes to be connected, as far as i can tell.
Anybody got any ideas as to what might have happened?? I am going to take it back in the morning, but if it might be something simple I would rather do it myself. The shop that did it for me is about 50 miles away, and I would rather not have to drive all the way back out there.

Unscrew the speedo cable from the tranny. It my have broken off. If not they may have to pull apart the tailshaft to fix it.
