Transmission: 700R4
The gear change?
what will I need to put 3.42 gears in my TA....my TA has 2.73's in it right now but I'm putting 3.42's out of a 83 s-10 in it. And what will happen to my speedometer when I do this?

3 series carrier, theres a zexel torsen on slponline.com for 100$
i think you also need to change your splines if you do that though
or if you wanted you could get posi out of an old camaro or firebird
speedo gears- 700r4.com i guess
gear installation kit- ratech kit from summit or somethin, make sure it has bearings- called the "complete" kit, 93 bucks
and if you dont like wear yuor shift points are...get a governor recalibration kit- summit or jegs
