Tranny Cooler Recomendations?
Is this a good choice for my '89 IROC with 700R4? Summit part# SUM-G4960 which is accesable here:

Or do you folks prefer B&M? Any input is appreciated.
Thanks.
Andy

Get the biggest one you can find, I have the B&m. My tranny guy said to by pass the radiator and hook up the cooler straight to the tranny, cause the cooler in the radiator was a flow restriction. My $.02.

Here is the one that I have. It works just as good as the B&M. My buddy has the B&M and we run about the same temps. This is better than the Summit cooler you are looking at. The Summit is only 16k-18k GVW. The Hayden is 24k GVW and is only cost about $3 more.

Wow! What a sweet deal! That cooler looks just like a B&M. Is it built the same way, as a high pressure unit? What an awesome price, is that the cheapest you know of?

My buddy has the B&M and there is nothing all that different between the two. The dimensions are a little different but that it is it. The B&M is a little more rectangular and the Haydan is more square. That is it. That is the lowest price that I could find. It's where I got mine from.
