Okay i plan to get a 350 but for now ive got a 305 tbi and would like to know around what stall speed should i get im also going to add a FULL exhaust(not just a muffler like i have right now) with 3 inch tailpipe and headers. And intake. so around 230 horsepower the 305 tbi also whats the benifits of getting a corvette servo and would it help me becuase my 1st to 2nd shift slips a little.

i just had them put a higher speed converter in my 700r4 which i just had rebuilt last month stall speed is between 2600-2800 makes a ****load of difference from stock
I have a 350 with about 400 horsepower and a 700r4 with a 2500 stall converter. That stall speeds works perfect with my setup. It all depends on what range your engine will live in. As for your transmission slipping a little bit, i'm not sure you should just try and stick a new servo in it. You might want to have the internals checked out. It could be the band slipping inside. The corvette servo will make the 1-2 and 2-3 shift quicker but like I said, that might not be the answer.
