Searched but no luck..TC lockup switch

Ok I read the tech article and it didnt help all.

Which wire do I need to ground out? And how should I run the switch? Do I need to splice a wire into the wire then run it to a switch then to a ground?

I need some help. Im trying to figure it out so I can lockup the converter in 4th so I get better milage.

Im gonna get the b&m or painless wire kit after thirdgen nationals but Id like to be able to lock the converter up before making the trip.

Its really simple, all you have to do is tap a wire into the top furthest left side of the aldl connector under the dash, hook that up to one side of a toggle switch, take another wire hook it up to the furthermost right top of the aldl and put that to the other end of the toggle switch, and when you want it locked you just flip the switch.

I had the exact same problem, im guessing this is a three prong switch correct? How do you have the wires hooked up on the switch?

I had one on the neg. and one on the pos. and nothing on the light prong. Think I would be better with a two prong toggle?? It does not matter what end the + - go to on th ALDL does it?? Sorry for all the question's, I just wanna try it again tonight.

In the tech section, they say something about a carb, so that lead's me to believe that it will work, but at the same time I wonder how it would still even be connected to the aldl at all??

Move the wires closest to each other i had the same problem when i had one wire on each side of the toggle switch and it didnt work , all i did was move one wire over on the switch, so both wires were right next to each other leaving the end prong of the switch open and it works perfectly now. Try this and go for a drive and let me know.

My computer is still in my car but its not hooked up to anything and my tc switch work just fine.

Nope, did'nt work!! I think it is because when I installed my B&M shifter, I never used the relay for the TC lock-up, so now the shifter is not hooked up to the TC at all. That is my only thought??
