2-3 shift hang up

On the 2-3 under maximun acceleration I have to let up just a bit at the top of 2nd to get it to shift into third.

How do I get rid of this? (700R4)

thanks!

To start with, add the Corvette servo and larger boost valves, this should solve the problem.

That did the trick Had my trans rebuilt--the Corvetter servo, trans-go shift kit andn 4.3 V6 stall. Night and day difference. My trans was in bad shape for a long time. Got terrible vibrations when you stepped on it.

Now it's so smooth, shifts fast and firm and makes the car (and engine) feel totally different then before.

I'm afraid it didn't for me.

I wouldn't be surprised that the rebuild is what did it for you. Mine's still waiting (works fine in "normal" driving).
