In a few weeks I will be pullin the motor out of my Iroc to find and fix a problem, and while the engine is out I want to do some things with the trany. I already bought a shift kit and was thinking of puting it in. I have messed with everything in a car before but an auto trans. Are shift kits hard to put in? Also I want a looser converter but don't have the cash to buy one from Summit or Jegs so I was thinking of getting converter from a 4.3 S-10 and puting that in. It should work like a loose performace converter. And I was also thinking of puting in a servo from a 'vette. Now the big question is the trany has 124,300 mi on it, never been rebuilt, has been beatin most its life but is in good shape still. Would all this be a waste before having it rebuilt? I don't want to put it all in and blow the trany. Oh, its behind a 350tpi. The rear is 3.23.
