devcon would work, might cost you a few dollars, but it'd work. thread inserts also might be an option.

will i be abvle to find someone in this low populated area that could melt some aluminum ontot he case to beef up the area and fill whats left of the hole so i can drill and tap new hole ?

whats this process called, tig welding?? we dont have anything around here cept two very small welding shops, this area is very unmechanically/industrial oriented, not even any machine shops or tranny shops or anything, just corn and tractors and cows and stuff

thanks

yeah it could be welded, mig or tig would work with correct filler and gas. i'd still use devcon or thread inserts.

Heli-coils do not cost much and would be a "quick fix"
