?'s about hurst and b+m shifters

I need to get rid of the stock shifter. I like the looks of the hurst dual gate, but heard that you can't shift it that hard, like the b+
m shifter. I like the b+m rachet one but I seldom manual shift the tranny, but when I do I hit it hard. The car is a daily driver so I need it to be easy to use. what are your guys opinon?
Thanks for the help!

I've had the B&M for quite a while without any problems. Some complain about the effort required to shift, I don't have a problem with it. A big improvement is going with the B&M 'hammer' shifter handle--wish I would have done that along time ago.

not sure about the hurst, but the B&M ratchet allows you to hit it with a sledgehammer and not miss a gear

i love mine

Both shifters are good. I'm not a big fan of the dual gate but that's me. As mentioned, if you install the mega shifter be prepaired for it to be tight for about a week and then it will loosen up and you'll be able to shift gears nice and smooth. I know that I really like mine.

B&M is junk. I hated mine. I had to fight with it over and over. I was really getting mad at it so I purchased the Hurst Pistol Grip Quarter stcik. and man that shifter rocks. Takes a little fabrication to put it in since it isnt made for the car but I love it. If you would like pics email me. The only problem is you have to make a shifter plate. and you loose your ash tray. thats it.
