extra check ball

i finished installing my trans go shift kit the other day and i noticed that when i was done i had an extra check ball it is the large one. i followed the directions perfectly it mentiond nothing about leaving it out. any info would be apreciated.

thanks alot thats all i needed to know. i rebuilt the tranny myself it is my first and the extra check ball was the only thing that didnt seem right. thanks

Its actually a "failsafe". The point of that was if the TV Cable broke, the checkball would block TV Exhaust causing max line pressure to save the tranny in the event the cable broke. Most shops and shift kits just discard it.
