Yes. It should be a 3-series. It's 26-spline, which means it will fit 88-back rear ends.
If it's the "Grenade-Lock" out of a S truck, it's not any godd for high-perf use, people destroy them all the time with their S trucks. I can't tell from the pic, it's too fuzzy inside the carrier; get a clearer pic from the seller if you can. If it has 2 little weights visible in the window, kep looking.

Since it's not stock, I can be a 2 series carrier with the 'special' thick 3 series gearset.... But more than likely its a 3 series.
