Upgrading a transmission?

I'm new to this stuff, and i was wondering if any of you knew if it is possible to take a transmission, say a non world class, and rebuild it to make it more durable and withstand more torque. Thanks
Bryan

upgrade a T5

Yes, you can, and the World Class T5 is rated at 330 ft/lbs.
You'd have to replace all the gears I think, I think the primary difference is the material in the gears. Either way, I know there's not much of a difference between the non-world class and the WC. For example, the cases are the same, same input, same output, etc.

good luck,
