my th350 is not hooked up to the detent cable. this is no problem because the line pressure is so high during shifts the acuumulators fill up really fast and there is no slip.

the only thing i hooked up was the vacuum modulator, its important because it tells the tranny when your motor is under load and when to shift. the governer has lighter springs as well to make the shifts later.

its in front of a 2.77 geared 3800 Lb. car with a 240 horsepower van motor. very cheesy, but it handles itself nicelly for a stock tranny. it was behind a blown 355, but thats another story.

Are you wanting it to "shift down", when you are at WOT? or just the oppisite?

depends on how many RPM's you want to see

whats your tire height ?
and 3.73 is your ratio, you say ?

you can find RPM calculators online if you search at yahoo/google home pages
