The guy at the local yard said he has a T56 6 speed out of a 1997 camaro 5.7 with only 100 miles that he will let go for $1,100.00 plus $100.00 for core charge is that a good deal should i buy it because my 700 r4 is junk so im going to get something that can handle the 350 tpi. Also what year firebird's and camaros should i get the brake clutch pedal assembly from since my car is auto right now.Or can i use the brake and clutch pedals from the 97 camaro.

Price doesn't sound too bad I just got 900 for mine and its pretty well used.

You'll need a 3rdgen pedal assembly, but i've got a brand new hydraulic setup and the spohn crossmember that you'll need. E-mail me for a price @ Cody2580@hotmail.com

Get the complete setup from them, the trans, bellhousing, flywheel, clutch setup, shifter, pedals, clutch master and slave, provided you get the complete setup the only thing you'll need aftermarket is a crossmember, and the required equip for your speedometer, if you have a 2 piece seal motor you dont want the flywheel from the 4th gen you'll have to get a fairly expensive aftermarket one.

86 up got a 1 piece seal, you *should* have a 1 piece. Unless someone has swapped the shortblock.
