My tranny was stuck in first gear (700R4) and before that the 1-2 shift was slipping. Well I'm tearing it apart to rebuild it and I found that the spring in the 1-2 Accumulator housing was snapped in half. What could have caused this and what other damage would this cause on the tranny? I'm sure that was my whole problem but since I'm this far into it I might as well pull it apart and complete the rebuild.
