Shifted fine went to go home and now wont shift out of first

I drove my car to work The 700r4 shifted fine through all gears 12 hours later I cant get it to shift out of 1st. What the heck happened? No mysterious noises or problems the fluid is fine. The TV cable is still connected and looks undisturbed. Do you guys have any clue as to what happened?

I thought of the governor too. So tomorrow I willcheck the line pressure and if that is ok I will check the governor. The governor is a pain in the a$$ to get to well, not really its just in a tight spot.

I popped the cover off and resealed it on my last TA in like five minute but that was working out of a lube pit.

The governer is easy to get to, just pry the dome shaped cover off. Slide the governer out and look at the plastic gear on the end. Its not unusual for them to break.
