Word of warning if your auto has burned out

Word of advice to anyone that had a sudden loss of high gears in an auto (specifically a 700R4 in my case):

Make sure your radiator doesn't have a rusted hole on the *inside* letting antifreeze shoot into the tranny lines.

Two rebuilds in 3 months, and I still need to replace the radiator, my wallet hurts

I should be okay with a 10X15.5X3/4 tranny cooler for a few weeks, shouldn't I?

better than coolant flowing in the tranny.
