I have an '85 700R4 that I am installing the B4C valves into. As I was searching tons of previous posts I ran across a ton of information on check *****, where the sleeves go etc. Damn I love this site! I have everything installed correctly and am about to put the valve body back on.

However, I came across one series of posts that questioned whether this B4C kit will do anything to a pre-87 transmission.

Can anyone provide a definitive answer before I put this thing back together?
