T-56 to crate engine

Now i am curious will a t-56 tranny hook up to any crate motor, or are they specific ones. I am looking at the ram jet or 350 ho deluxe now will this be a problem for them or will it just bolt right up?

The LT1 style ('93-'97) T-56 will bolt up to any non-LS1 smallblock chevy engine. If it's a late model (1 piece rear main seal) engine you can even use the stock LT1 flywheel and clutch. For an early model (2-piece rear main seal) engine you need a conversion flywheel, Centerforce part #700107.

400cid blocks require different flywheels also, but I don't know the part numbers offhand.
