K heres the deal i don't know anything about trannys.
I bought a 86 camaro off a junk yard (just cause i got bored and stuff) well i planed on rebuilding a 305 and put it in there. 1st off i noticed that body used to have a 305 with a 4 bbl HO. But this car also had a manual tranny. Can anyone tell me what it had or even what i could put in it? Thanx

 

look at the vin and then look at the main page of this site and a lot of your questions should be answered. you can put any SBC in it with no more trouble then any other SBC, basically.
