ZZ4 and 700R4 tranny

i'm about to buy an 87 IROC with a zz4 swapped in and a 700R4 tranny. at the moment, the car has a 3.27 rearend. should i go up to 3.73, or leave it at the 3.27s?

3.27 is a nine bolt. 3.73 are for a 10 bolt. A higher stall convertor would work good with the 3.27 gear. Traction is hard to get with 3.73 gears.

you can get 3:73's for the 9 bolt BW rear......i have them in my car. afew companys make them (strange, persion) ect... since you have alot of cam u could go with them. I'm sure they would help out. You might need a set of drag radials. the gears cost more $$ for the BW 9 bolt then the 10 blot

what about 3.42s? i won't be buying drag radials, mainly because i won't have the cash for them. the car will be riding on high-performance street tires, most likely.
