ok guys heres my question my buddys 86 iroc has 4wheel disk brakes and has a posi. my 86 trans am doesnt have posi and hes gonna sell his rear end to me, since his car got totalled, but mine isnt 4 wheel disk brakes. mine only has front disk. am i gonna run into some major problems or is it simple? could some one please gimmie a run down on whats involved? im sure someones done this before. thanks, joe

 

will bolt right up. but you will need an adjustable pp valve to work the rear brakes right.

 

so i just ask for that at the auto store?
and where does it go?

 

couldn't he just take the proportioning valve from the donor car?

And will he need new parking brake cables?

 

well my e brake doesnt work on the t/a so maybe when i swap rears thatll fix it
