Transmissions and Drivetrain Need help with your trans? Problems with your axle?

kinda stupid question but an easy one!

Engine: 3.1L V6
Transmission: WC T5
kinda stupid question but an easy one!

is it bad to always drive the car in overdrive? I heard that it is from someone...if so, can i just drive it in 3rd around town and pop it into OD on the highway?

Transmission: 4L80E/4L80E
Axle/Gears: 12B-3.73/9"-3.89
Only thing that could be "bad" is if the tranny is in OD and the torque converter locked up, and the engine is lugging at low RPMs below good oil circulation speed.

Doesn't hurt the transmission any, although constantly shifting between gears and/or locking/unlocking the TC will produce more wear than staying in one gear/state.
