ok i did a search found lots of stuff but i wanna be specific for my car. 85 Z28 with non posi.. I dont wanna go to the yards and search for one so i just wanna change the gears. What will i need to order to do this. Its a 305 4bbl automatic. I checked and it doesnt have posi as i did a brake torque. Like can i order the stuff from jegs or summit? I prolly wont be doing the work on it but i will buy the parts and have someone elsedo it.

Now the only reason i dont wanna go to the yards is because they dont know what they have i can ask them if they have any posi ends and they will be like what?

 

you'd need a gear set to match your carrier and an install kit, but you'd still not have posi. for posi you'd need a posi carrier. best bet would be to up grade to 28 spline axles and get an slp posi.
