Tranny Mount...

Hey i just got done pulling my tranny to do a clutch. When i got everthing back together i took it for a spin and noticed when i got on it a little bit the shifter of my T5 would pop up about 1-2 inches. I think it might be a bad tranny mount. Is it okay to drive the car like this for a little while until i can fix it or am i gonna hurt somethin? thanks alot, also, about how much would a new tranny mount consist of and what does it include, just the rubber piece between the cross member and tranny? thanks...

Dont go racing in it, but if you drive like an old lady you can make it awhile. I broke about 6 or 7 cheesy rubber mounts before I bought a poly. mount for around 35 buck or so. Havent had any probs since.

And speaking od tranny mounts... does anyone else have the "captured" mount that GM made? I have one on my '85 (replaced broken stock one back in 88) I was looking to get another one for my 91 bird but can't seem to find them now.
