TH700R4 Problems
Hey all! I was wondering, I just bought a 92 RS 305cu Camaro today, and the thing is immaculate. It has 158k miles on it, but 27k on the crate motor. Anyway, I've noticed the transmission makes a little bit of a hum, or growl noise sometimes, when I am in D and sitting still, or going into or out of R, N or P. Almost like when an old tranny doesnt have enough fluid, and you can hear the tq converter, but nowhere near as loud. Also, 3rd gear is really sloppy, I forget what you call it, but it kind of hits nuetral real fast before it shifts, but its not that bad yet, I've seen that symptom very worse. Could any of this be adjustment? Like bands? Or would a shift kit help, or just make it worse? Or is it destined for the rebuild shop?
Thanks!!
Chris
Thanks!!

well if its stil stock (not rebuilt yet) and has that many miles, it could very well be on its way for arebuild. thats about when mine died. Make sure you get get better parts in it if you rebuild it
