slave cylinder broke off aftr clutch install
I just put a new clutch in my 91 camaro 305 w/hydralic. I went to start up the car and try it out. I pushed in the clutch and it hit a hard spot and then went to the floor. I looked underneath and the whole slave cylinder broke right off. I was wondering if my throwout bearing might have came off the fork when I was putting the tranny in. Please help!!

yes it looks like plastic. I already bought a new metal one but I was afraid to put it in without getting some help. I didn't know if the pressure plate would have be strong enough to cause the old one to break. I was moving the fork back and forth and it moves about 4 inches. Is this normal?
