its a 80 Z28 with th350........casue i was wondering the shop that did my tranny must not have gotten the bolts tight enough but there is only 3 and it looks like 6 holes

 

Right, there are supposed to be 6 of them.

They're 3/8"-16, 1½" long IIRC.... not very hard to come up with

 

well thanks good thing thats what i thought cause i just took it back to the shop cause i had the tranny redone about a month ago on my last check when i heard it rattling there was 4 bolts in it with one sherred off. so back to the shop it'll go......nothin like warranty work (or some dumb **** forgot someting)

 

There's a chance that somebody didn't forget anything. If someone doesn't know exactly what they're doing, a couple of them and be difficult and they might have said "frig it" and put you down the road. But we'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say they "forgot" a couple, lol.

either way it's gettin fixed right now i showed them and said for some reason i don;t think this is right as i turn a bolt with my fingers, lets just say the boss there didn't look to happy.
