B&M Governor recal kit (WOT shift points)
This supposedly works for the th350, th400, and 700r4. I currently observe WOT shifts to occur too late for the TPI's powerband, especially the 2-3 shift (6100rpm
)
So I ordered this thing, and want to know if anyone has any experience with it? Any tips, or guidance for shortening my test period? (You have to have time for at least 3 WOT tests for fine adjustment) I want shifts to occur at WOT at 5500rpm, since thats just about when the TPI becomes useless.

I have it it takes alot of trial and error to get it right.Just be carefull with the little E-clips.I would just try messing with the springs first with stock weights.If you just cant get it right try different combs on either side.

25THRSS now that Im thinking about it useing different weight-spring combos on opposite sides will make the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts different than each other.You really just have to play with it.

There is a related thread in which someone stated that the springs mainly affect part throttle. The weights I understand are what mostly govern the WOT shifts. I do not wish to mess with he part throttle shifting too significantly. I just want WOT shifts to take place WITHIN the TPI powerband... I believe my 6100RPM 2-3 shift is probably robbing me of like 2 tenths in the 1320!
