tranny fluid comeing from pan

i know where the leck is comeing from.... someone over tightn' the craping stock gasket... i wanted to know if it was ok to use the ulta black ATF gasket marker along withn the gasket to have it seal better.... i'm dumpping in about 2 qt a week into the damn thing


PS this is in a Ford Tempo LoL but i also want to know if there is gasket out there for the 700R-4 for my firebird. i want something better then stock... i hate cork gaskets..... they are CRAP!!


LOL and my mom was thinking it was MY car getting oil and crap all over the drive way.... LoL i have all Felpro in my car.. it better be dumpping fluid all over!

leaking trans

Actually, a good quality cork gasket can be one of the best gaskets you can get, and no need for additional silicone.

Just don't over tighten it, and get a good quality gasket, such as Fel-Pro.

Just go ahead and drop the pan and replace the gasket. Putting gasket sealer around it won't help the problem. Also use a quality gasket like Fel-Pro.

LOL i don't think Fel-pro makes anything for a ford tempo LoL
