I just ordered a SLP posi carrier...gonna get some 3.73 richmonds also. What should I replace in the rearend before I do this swap? Should I just go ahead and buy a kit that contains the bearings, seals and all?

Im retarded when it comes to rearend but I got a 91 RS 28 spline rear for this setup along with the slp posi. Trying to get the swap done as cheaply as possible also.

 

yeah get a kit that has all the bearings, seal, etc. becuz ya never know if they've been replaced and it wouldnt hurt also. i did that when i had my auburn posi installed, i gotthe richmond mega kit for $128.99 i think it was, nice kit also.

 

Where did you end up getting it at? I was looking at some richmond kit on jegs.. 318$ for the 3.73 gears and everything for the rebuild.
