any one else running a stock t56 shifter? it seems kinda hard to find gears real quick. the t-5 went from gear to gear almost by its self. the t56 I have to feel for the gates. the guy befor me took out most of the spring on the rev. solonoid and I don't like how easy it is to move it in to rev. I think I would hit it if I was not paying real close attention.

 

I have a stock T56 shifter. I had to feel for the gates too, until I got used to it. Now I can do it without thinking unless I'm really ripping through the gears, or trying to skip a shift (1st->3rd tends to get me 5th). I'm planning on upgrading to a Hurst, but I don't know if that will help the feel of the gates.
