hydralic clutch woes

could someone please tell me the most efficient way too get all of the air out of this d@#n system. clutch-20000mi,slave cylinder-20000mi, master cylinder 1000mi. worked fine when i first put the new master cylinder in, and now about 1000mi later, its almost back to where it was(hard to get into any gear, have to put it in 5th before reverse to keep it from grinding). so im sure i didnt get all the air out. would it be easier to bleed with the entire assembly removed from the car. or will i ever get the air out of these cheapo parts? d@#n jiffy auto stores, im tired of returning part after part. but you get what you pay for, and im on a married budget, so i keep having to buy their crap!
