91 RS rear end

How much HP and torque can the stock rear end on a 91 RS take? my new 350 is gonna put out probably 300 HP to the ground. Will it be ok?

BTW I have some oil leaking I think on the rear end, looks like its comin from where the driveline goes into the rear....I hope its not screwed!! Maybe a seal or something would be great!

cheers

depends on how you apply the power as much as the strength of the parts, plus there are a few things you can do to increase the strength of the rear

In my opinion it will be fine. I believe the 10bolt rears are rated somewhere between 300-325HP, if thats the rear ya have. And if your running regular tires and not slicks with a built suspension I'm willing to bet you'll be fine. Take care of that leak for now
