hard downshift?

how come when the car shifts from 2 to1 in drive it is very rough. i dont know how to explain it but it just feels like it engages very harshly. by the way it has a new tranny mount.

Transmission: 700r4 x3

Its hell on the pressures I never do the 2 to 1 shift its a good way to rail on a Tranny thats stock id suggest getting a manual valve body before doing that more. You have to be going Really slow for it to be smooth

thats not what i meant sorry. what i mean is when im in drive and my car auto shifts from 2nd gear to first it is hard......

Oh mine is too ive woundered about that Does yours lag a bit then shoot the RPMS through the roof then go like a bat out of hell?

yes but

it does when i shift from od to d but my original question is when u drive in d when the car downshifts automatically not u to 2-1 is it hard
