A few months back I bought a Z28 donor car (no engine) for the transmission "WC" T5 and all the parts needed for the T5 swap. The car which I need to dump now has a BW 9 in it supposedly in good condition. Is it worth the effort to swap rear ends? I dont really care about 4 disk brakes and wold have to change the gear set to somthing more suitable, that being the issue that I know of. As of now i have an 88/89 V6 10 bolt rear with 3.42's and a powertrax locker which is probably just as good as the 9 bolt.

Should I change it? I'm going to keep the axle but Ivegot the tear apart somthing that works and make it inoperational for a few days itch.

 

even if i didn't swap rears i'd at least pull it from the doner car and hang on to it
