Driveshaft question
I was just reading on T/A Creations, that all 88-92 cars with a posi/drum rear end were equipped with an aluminum driveshaft. I've got a 3.23 posi rear-end with drum brakes, but my car shakes like Janet Reno on the highway. Did the third gen aluminum driveshaft still have vibration problems because it's not harmonically balanced like the 4th gen driveshaft? Or do I just have a steel shaft and TAC's info isn't right?

) The price for a new 1LE or LS1 Aluminum Dr shaft is about $250
from GMparstdirect. I would check out E-Bay for a deal. They do cure high speed vibration problems.

you can have your existing driveshaft spun balanced at any driveline shop for about 30 bucks
