i am doing a V-8 swap into an S10, although im building a nasty turbo motor for it, with which i will use an auto, im thinking bout throwing a stock 350 in it for the time being, im told that my t5 will work but i must change out the input shaft (its 14 splines or something) and im told any 4sp bellhousing will work. can any one give me some detailed info on the swap as far as parts needed and cost. i know a tranny builder so i can get labor pretty cheap

not even close.

bolt pattern different
s10 t5 clocked at 0, camaro clocked about 7 deg
camaro shifter is futher back then s10
splines different

and a v8 would more then likely rip a 4cyl tranny in half the first time you gave it any hell.
