60 degree 700r4 info

I'm looking for information as far as differences between the 60 degree 700's that were mated to 2.5L's and 90 degree 700's that were bolted up behind 350's. Besides the obvious difference of the bellhousing, what differences are there between the two? are the boost valves different? are the springs all the same strength? How many fewer clutches do the 60's have? How much is it gonna take to get a 60 degree 700r4 to handle a few hard launches behind an engine that puts 450 or so to the wheels?

I don't wanna hear "buy pro-built" and all that, i wanna know what needs to be changed, what holes do i need to enlarge, how many steels and bands, etc. Alternatively, i'm VERY open to anybody's ideas on adapting a 90 degree bellhousing to work on a 60 degree block.

Sounds like someone got a hold of an L67 with a 60* trans pattern HUMMMM???

I'm also interested in the same thing.

The Bell housing is physically smaller and narrower than a 90* V6 or V8 bellhousing. Also the Torque convertor is smaller for the v6

The sun shell inside the transmission is weaker in a 60* 700R4 than a 90* 700R4

However they seem to be able to swap. Don't know about the Valve body. Only other way to find out is spend some time at a pick a part and start fiddling with both types of trans.
